Specialist financial services group Ecclesiastical has moved its London operations to new premises on Monument Street.

The Gloucester-headquartered company’s London-based senior management, general insurance and investment management teams moved to the newly redeveloped site - Monument Place at 24 Monument Street, London, EC3 - on January 17 and 18.

Previously the insurance firm ran its City operations from 19 to 21 Billiter Street, but feel the new premises will help as it continues its bid to attract the highest calibre of staff to the business.

The development did not, said the firm, detract from the importance of the Gloucester office which employs 600 staff and remains the company’s headquarters.

Mark Hews, Ecclesiastical’s group chief executive, said: “We first announced our exciting plans to relocate our City office in September last year and I am pleased that the move has now completed ahead of our original schedule.

“The new office will support our growth plans for both our ethical investment management and specialist general insurance operations by offering our current and potential new employees an exceptional modern working environment at the heart of the City.

“We look forward to welcoming our customers and business partners at Monument Street over the months and years to come. Our thanks go to everyone involved in achieving this success.”
