Charities handed free use of tourist attraction

Monday, February 08, 2010, 11:15

LOCAL charities can use Charlie's Adventure Land at Par free, to celebrate it being taken over by Town and Country Markets Ltd.

Charlie's was established in 1997 as a visitor attraction alongside Cornish Market World and has proven to be a popular destination for locals and tourists.

Tony Thomas, from Town and Country Markets, said: "We're really pleased to have taken over the site and to mark the occasion, we are inviting local charities to come along and use the facilities here to help raise funds and have some fun. There are dodgems, mini-golf and loads more activities.

"Available time slots are limited as we will soon be embarking on an extensive revamp here, so anyone interested in our offer will need to contact us as soon as possible to ensure that we can get their event into our diary."
