Insurance specialists catch eyes at expo

A TORQUAY firm specialising in hospitality insurance said it received 'a number of new inquiries' from visitors at this year's Expowest trade show.

The Pavey Group was one of 115 exhibitors at the three-day show held at Exeter's Westpoint Arena last week.

Niki Jones, marketing manager, said an increasing diversity of businesses attending the show kept them constantly busy.

He said: "We found this year that the variety in trades was far more diverse than in previous years and felt that this was due to people looking to save money and reduce spend in all areas of their business.

"Footfall was especially pleasing and all three days were constantly busy. This was highlighted by the number of new business inquiries we received accompanied with the success of our free cotton Leisuresure bags that we gave away."

Mr Jones said the firm has exhibited for more than 10 years, and said they were looking forward to attending again next year.

He added: "All in all it was a great show and we're looking forward to attending the show again in 2011."
