Inquest into death jump from car park

The inquest of Luke Bitmead, who jumped to his death from a multi-storey car park, has been adjourned until October to allow the coroner to consider his verdict.

Luke, who was 34 at the time of his death, died on October 27, 2006, hours after jumping from the Farnsby Street car park in Swindon.

The five-day inquest heard that Luke had been admitted to Great Western Hospital the day before his death after attempting to commit suicide.
