Ecotricity has donated a £65,000 car to researchers to help them influence the future of transport.

Bristol Robotics Laboratory, a collaboration between the University of the West of England and the University of Bristol, will be given an electric sports car by the Stroud-based green firm.

Dr Matt Studley from UWE Bristol said: “The electric car is extremely valuable to us since it will enable us to kick-start our research.”
