Stonehouse-based Green Fuels is one of 16 companies from all over the UK going to the United States to promote clean and renewable technology.
The firm is taking part in the Clean and Cool Mission in Colorado next month to showcase British innovations and explore business opportunities.
Green Fuels, which produces the technology to turn potentially harmful cooking waste oils into biofuel, is gaining a global reputation.
The Clean and Cool Mission will help the UK companies accelerate their business in the important US market.
David Bott, director of innovation programmes at Technology Strategy Board said: "The US has one of the most innovative and dynamic cleantech ecosystems.
"The mission will provide participants with the opportunity to establish partnerships, secure investment, and help launch their business to a large, continually expanding and thriving technology market."
