New Handmade Biscuit Company Launches
The flour is from Shipton Mills, the eggs from local farms and the chocolate is fairly traded.
Angeline Fuller, managing director says: "My mother was a chef and so I know the value of good quality food. We're a nation of biscuit lovers and I wanted to produce really top notch biscuits handmade to order.
"We bake all the old favourites like custard creams and bourbons and new favourites such as biscotti as well as biscuits for the corporate market. Most biscuits are produced by large manufacturers or imported from Europe.
"I think it's important that we support our local businesses by using local ingredients and buying local produce."
The company had a stall a the recent Cheltenham Connect Christmas Craft Fair which proved successful.
The Handmade Biscuit Company sells its biscuits online via www.handmadebiscuits.co.uk and is planning to start trading at farmer's markets in the coming year.
