Bath agency Edit wins three-year The Salvation Army contract

Bath-based marketing agency Edit has won a contract with The Salvation Army, in collaboration with a company in Manchester.

The multi-service marketing agency gained a three-year contract with the charity, which includes its Christmas campaign, in conjunction with MediaCom Manchester.

Campaign activity will go live in October for The Salvation Army’s annual Christmas appeal.

Edit already handles The Salvation Army’s direct mail and inserts and as a result was invited to tender for its entire media planning and buying account.

Samantha Wright, Edit’s media director, said: “Having enjoyed a successful partnership with The Salvation Army for many years, we are thrilled to be expanding our relationship with them, and pooling our specialisms with MediaCom to deliver a market-leading solution.

“We are looking forward to starting work planning an engaging and impactful Christmas campaign and being part of the incredible support The Salvation Army provides.”

Edit’s charity portfolio also includes Oxfam, Mencap, British Red Cross, Blind Veterans UK and Alzheimer’s Society.

Alex Wood, head of Individual Giving for The Salvation Army said: “We are delighted to be working with Edit and MediaCom on our forthcoming Christmas appeal.

“We look forward to continuing our successful and longstanding relationship with Edit, and creating a strong partnership with MediaCom as we all work towards our joint goal of developing The Salvation Army’s flagship Christmas campaign.”

Edit was formed in March through the merger of three St Ives Group agencies. They included Response One, Amaze One and Occam.
