Bath financial advisers Chase de Vere recruits seven medical profession specialists

Independent financial advisers Chase de Vere has recruited seven business development consultants to work with medical professionals.

The consultants will work in hospitals and GP practices around the UK, developing relationships and providing tailored briefings and seminars.

The recruits include Megg Irvine, who will be based from Chase de Vere's Bath office.

She joins the team from Wesleyan, which she joined in 2013 initially working with medical students and then as a brand ambassador in the south west.

In 2015 she won Wesleyan's Elite Award for her achievements working alongside medical practitioners.

The new recruits and the respective Chase de Vere offices they will work from are as follows:

  • Megg Irvine, Bath office
  • Claudine Bell, London office
  • Louise Gillett, Manchester and Tyne & Wear office
  • Jane Strode-Gibbons, Basingstoke office
  • Jonathan Darbinson, Birmingham office
  • Toby Wilkinson, Leeds and Chester offices
  • Carly Millan, Glasgow office

Chase de Vere has been offering a specialist independent financial advisory service to the medical profession in partnership with the British Medical Association (BMA) since September 2005. They are the only financial adviser firm recommended by the BMA and have provided advice to more than 11,000 of their members.

The company has a specialist team of 60 advisers who work exclusively with BMA members.

Chase de Vere CEO Stephen Kavanagh said: "I am delighted that Megg and her team members have joined us. Between them they have vast experience in the medical market place.

"Our relationship with the British Medical Association is hugely important. We have increased our number of advisers who specialise in working with BMA members from 37 to 60 over the past year and we are still recruiting.

"I believe that the combination of having advisers with such extensive knowledge of the medical profession and their finances, combined with our independent advice proposition, provides a market-leading solution. With Megg and her team members having joined us, this will soon be available to even more medical professionals in and around Bath."
