Bath fintech start-up i4C to unveil software after aiding Epoch Wealth Management

Rapidly growing Bath-based fintech start-up i4C is to launch its new software for financial planners.

The software solution, which aims to almost double its team to 20 staff over the next 12 months, will unveil its new application at a major industry event next month.

Developed for internal use by Bath firm of financial planners, Epoch Wealth Management, i4C has set-up on its own choosing the city as its base after £2 million from South West investors.

Located at Spaces in Northgate House, Upper Borough Walls, its new offering creates cashflow plans for financial planners and wealth managers to help them with clients as they compete with regulatory pressures and technological advances in the industry.

The start-up now wants to expand its 12-strong team by recruiting candidates with financial and customer service experience, plus those with wider technological expertise.

Mark Harman, CEO at i4C said: “Bath is well-known for having a wealth of financial and technological expertise, which is evident through the growing number of start-ups choosing to locate themselves here.

“This combined wit h i4C’s historic connection to Bath through Epoch Wealth Management, made it a natural choice to base our new company in this great city.

The application aims to provide financial planners with a sophisticated but easy to use web-based product. It enables the creation of simple or complex cashflow plans in order to provide clear and compliant advice to clients.

Founded in 2016, i4C is going it alone after securing investment from across the South West.

The start-up will showcase its new brand and website at software supplier Intelliflo's flagship conference Change the Game, which takes place in Manchester on June 7 and London on June 21.
