Bristol Business Awards 2018 to salute most inspiring businesses across the city

Next week Bristol’s biggest business awards ceremony will be taking place at Ashton Gate Stadium.

The annual Bristol Business Awards recognises game-changing companies in the South West and the individuals responsible for their growth, development and success.

Companies from across the Bristol region will be gathering at the black-tie awards ceremony on Thursday, June 21, to celebrate the achievements of those firms driving the local economy forward.

ITV news presenter Kylie Pentelow is hosting the event.

She said: “Bristol is such a dynamic and diverse city with a whole host of thriving and inspiring businesses.

“I’m delighted to be hosting this year’s Business Awards. “There are some fantastic nominations and it’s sure to be an amazing night.”

Bristol Post business editor Hannah Baker said: “Bristol is a thriving hub of innovation and enterprise, and these awards acknowledge the companies making an outstanding contribution to the region’s economy.

“The evening will be a fantastic celebration of business - and I would like to congratulate all the finalists who have been shortlisted.

“I am looking forward to meeting the businesses on the night.”

Regarded as one of the most significant events in Bristol’s business calendar, the awards are a chance for the business community in Bristol to come together to network and celebrate.

Speaking at last year’s awards, Sarah Pullen, managing director for Trinity Mirror South West, said: “These awards have been going for more than a decade and are the biggest and most prestigious in the South West.

“There has never been a better time to celebrate Bristol’s business success. Bristol has great economic power. It is a modern city of great industry and entrepreneurship.”

Post editor Mike Norton added: “The Bristol Post is proud to be at the heart of business in Bristol and proud to be able to showcase the enormous energy, talent and innovation that drives our city’s economy at the South West’s biggest and most prestigious business awards.”
