Free business event on accessing funding to take place in Bristol

A free event for small businesses on accessing funding is taking place in Bristol on Tuesday, 4 December.

The event, which is being run by small business network Enterprise Nation and business support provider Funding Circle, is aimed at helping entrepreneurs boost their financial knowledge and learn more about getting access to finance.

Emma Jones, founder of Enterprise Nation, said: “Finding funding at the right moment is critical for any business, however finding the right source of finance is harder than ever.

"That’s why making your business a more investable proposition is essential, as is doing your homework to find out the best solution.

"This series of nationwide events is designed to help established small firms get fit for finance to help them grow their business to the next level.”

Natasha Jones, Head of UK Communications at Funding Circle said: “Businesses are the lifeblood of our local economies and have been key drivers of job creation since the 2008 crisis.

"Despite this valuable output, they continue to struggle with an unfair and broken financial system. That’s why we’re pleased to be working with Enterprise Nation to help more small businesses realise their potential and go even further.”

The event is taking place at Clifton Sausage in Bristol from 6pm to 8pm.
