Trio of promotions at Waste Source as company targets £6 million turnover

Bristol-based waste management company Waste Source has promoted three of its staff as it moves closer to achieving an end-of-year turnover target of £6 million.

Clayton Davies, Melissa Baxter-Hunter and Alice Coram have all been promoted into new roles

Clayton joined the company 15 months ago and has been promoted from account executive to junior account manager for the businesses construction customers. 

Melissa has been promoted from account executive to junior account manager for Waste Source's hospitality customers. Completing the promotions is Alice, who takes up the role of customer services supervisor.

Managing director and co-founder Chris Holland said: “This shows that you can come into the business and quickly work your way up the ranks if you show the right skills and aptitude. All of them have worked so hard and deserve these promotions on merit.

“It’s also refreshing to see that all three of them are under the age of 27, which shows that no matter what your age is you can make it in business and have your talent recognised.”

The company was founded in 2010 and in its last fiscal year it pushed turnover past £3.5 million, which was up 50 per cent on the previous twelve months.

The company operate across multiple sectors including retail, hospitality, property and construction among others.
