Gloucestershire Apprenticeship Awards 2015: Winners and pictures from the Echo, Citizen and Stroud Life event at Cheltenham Racecourse’s The Centaur

VIDEO: Young people triumphed as the older generation looked on at this year’s Gloucestershire Apprenticeship Awards.

The ‘older generation’ being anyone over 25 as it was an evening to celebrate the apprentices putting their generation on the map and all that is being done by business in Gloucestershire to help the county get ahead.

And looking up to the stage those who attended were inspired by the young people, not just those who won but also those shortlisted. It was indeed an evening in which you felt much work was being done to ensure the future is in safe hands.

The event, at The Centaur, Cheltenham Racecourse, shone the spotlight on individuals and organisations that went the extra mile in achievement and best practice in apprenticeships.

The awards, run by Local World Gloucestershire, publisher of the Gloucestershire Echo, Gloucester Citizen and Stroud Life attracted entries from the private and public sectors, with winners in both.
