HR consultancy Amelore sets up headquarters in Dursley

An HR consultancy with global retail clients has set up its headquarters in Gloucestershire.

Amelore has moved into the refurbished offices at Drake House, Dursley as part of its plans to expand its business in Gloucestershire and the South West.

Originally founded in 2010 as Ruth Cornish Ltd, Amelore provides HR services to organisations and fast-growing businesses, as well as coaching and career strategy to senior, high-profile individuals.

Founder and managing director Ruth Cornish, from Uley, Gloucestershire, has a background in investment banking, city and senior HR roles, including with the Environment Agency.

She said: “Gloucestershire is a great location for a growing business looking to expand its client list in the South West but still within reach of London.”

Amelore’s clients include Hill Valley and Vale Children’s Centres, Robert Welch and Bath Tourism Plus, as well as retail brands Monica Vinader, Notonthehightstreet.com and Roksanda.

Ms Cornish has more than 25 years’ experience.

She has worked for American Express, city investment banks ABN Amro and Charterhouse and the Environment Agency.
