Brokers that was created in the face of adversity upgrades offices to recruit 100 more staff

Switch Health was founded by CEO Jack Chandler after he dropped out of school and couldn’t get into university because of his grades. Jack said: “Being severely dyslexic at school was a struggle, so I decided to get into sales that led me down a path to set-up Switch Health from my garage in April 2015 on my own.”

The health insurance brokers now works with major health insurers like Bupa, Aviva, AXA and Vitality and specialises in finding clients the best private health deals in the UK.

Jack continued: “Within 5 months I built up a decent client base and wanted to move into bigger offices and start employing staff. My main goal was to be the biggest PMI insurance broker in Cheltenham. I managed to achieve this in 2017.”

Switch Health has recently announced that they are moving its headquarters to Gloucester Quays and creating 50 more jobs. The move is due to take place in December.

Jack said: “Now we are expanding so fast there is no offices in Cheltenham big enough to grow into so we have to move away from a small town into a city. My goal is to be the biggest insurance broker in the country and I believe I will achieve this opening up a 6,000 sq ft office in Gloucester Quays. I am already on a big recruitment drive and I believe we will have 100 more staff by end of 2019.”

Dan Parker, director of Switch Health said, "We are delighted to be moving our offices to the Quays, there is a lot of exciting developments happening there right now. In the last year we have rapidly expanded our business and are now looking to grow our team too. We will be recruiting several senior members of staff as well as 20 new sales advisers, with plans to expand our team further in the near future."
