Cotswold luxury air company soar to success

Two local men have found a gap in the market selling luxury bottled Cotswold air. Thomas and Adam are the creators of this product which has turned a lot of heads in recent months.

Thomas said: “Sales are blowing up, we've already created a buzz within our community and our online site is just the beginning... We feel our product is popular because it creates a debate, it turns heads. People like different, and we are different. It's as simple as that!”

The air is bottled on a crisp morning, soon after sunrise at specific locations within The Cotswolds, including Oxford, Bibury, Broadway and Bourton-on-the-Water. It is sealed with a wooden composite topper and supplied in an organic linen drawstring bag.

One of the glass bottles of Cotswold Air will set you back £90 with 10% of all profits going to Greenpeace's Clean Air Movement. They feel that Greenpeace’s mission and values resonate with their own and are committed to making a difference for everyone.

Thomas said: “The price is on par with our competitors (believe it, there is competitors!) however they use cheap kiln jars with poorly printed logos. This is why we set up Cotswold Air Co. -  to offer a high quality product with attention to detail. We're selling the journey, not just the product. The journey is encapsulated in every individual bottle.

The companies main market is international tourists, particularly from East-Asian countries. The company began trialling the product at small pop up markets and found they attracted a lot of attention. Thomas said: “We have been doing extremely well in market stalls and have just finished our website for online orders.
