Gloucestershire hosts key conference for women in business

Business women from across the country will come together to inspire, celebrate and award each other at the Maximise Conference and Awards Ceremony in Cheltenham in December.

Maximise, this year proudly sponsored by Simply Business, was set up by Women’s Business Club in 2013, and this year’s event promises to be the biggest yet.

The conference aims to bring women in business together to “make connections, learn from each other, share experiences, recognise each other’s success, and have fun”.

Angela De Souza, who founded Women’s Business Club in 2013 said: “We are looking forward to welcoming a host of talented business women to this year’s conference. It is open to all women who are in work, or running a business – and men are also very welcome to join us.

“Our aim is that you leave feeling both refreshed and inspired, with lots of new knowledge and ideas, and a list of key business connections. So be sure to wear flat shoes and bring lots of business cards.”

Activities on the day will include inspirational talks by experts in their field, speed networking, the Maximise fashion show, a ‘Dragoness’ Den’ and the Business Woman of the Year awards ceremony.

The event is due to take place the Pittville Pump Rooms in Cheltenham from 9am – 5pm on the 6th December. All women who run or work in a business are welcome to join.
