Time is running out to enter what we like to think of as the biggest business awards of their kind in the region – possibly the UK – and they are right here in Gloucestershire.

At the start of the year sponsors, guests and key business people gathered in Cheltenham for the official launch of the Gloucestershire Business Awards 2017.

Business experts and accountants Randall & Payne was yet again unveiled the event’s headline sponsor.

Jenny Eastwood, editor of the Gloucester Citizen and Gloucestershirelive.co.uk, said: “By far the biggest event of the year has to be the one which takes place on October 5 at Cheltenham Racecourse.

“And as it is the 20th year we have staged the Gloucestershire Business Awards it will be a very special night.”

Fourteen awards will be presented at the ceremony at Cheltenham Racecourse’s Centaur arena on October 5 and the deadline for entries - which was Friday, July 21st. at 12 pm - has been extended until Monday, July 24, at noon.

Awards will include Business of the Year, sponsored by Randall & Payne, Small Business of the Year, Family Business of the Year (sponsored by Willans LLP Solicitors), Young Business of the Year, Young Business Person of the Year (sponsored by Renishaw), Export Award, Business Innovation (sponsored by University of Gloucestershire), Marketing Campaign of the Year, Best Place to Work (sponsored by Lucozade Ribena Suntory), Growth Business of the Year (sponsored by Gloucestershire College), Corporate Social Responsibility, Best Employee, Digital Business of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Award, sponsored by QuoLux.
