Edge Awards: Creative Agency of the Year maps out road to success using Street View

Innovative use of Google Street View has helped an IT marketing solutions firm to grow quickly.

Better Reach started as a one-man IT/web-design business in Cheddar, Somerset, in 2003.

After becoming authorised by Google to produce Google Street View business virtual tours in 2012, staff numbers have grown to 18 and the moves has moved to bigger offices in Park Street, Bristol.

The cap it off, the firm was named Creative Agency of the Year in the Edge Awards, run by the Bristol Post and SouthWestBusiness in association with the University of th West of England.

The firm’s entry highlighted the growth of the business, new developments in web building software and online virtual tour directory, as well as some of the creative projects worked on with customers ranging from small independent retailers to national names like Royal Caribbean International.

Managing director Stuart Edmonstone said: “We are thrilled to have been named Creative Agency of the Year in the Edge Awards.

“With so many innovative businesses in the West, we knew we were up against some impressive competition. It's fantastic for the work of our team to be recognised in such an exciting way.”

Stuart said the firm had an “incredibly busy” 2015, with the relocation to Bristol, expansion of the team and development of new projects.

Since entering the awards in January the growth story has continued with the firm expand operations with a new addition to our sales team being recruited in Scotland and it has just completed its first Google Street View virtual tours in Ireland.

Stuart added: “We are continuing preparations for the launch of ecommerce web-building software along with our new business partner this summer, offering a valuable addition to our current web design services.

“What an awesome start to 2016!”
