Sparkol chief executive buys out company
Bristol-based Sparkol, the whiteboard animation software company, has been acquired by its current chief executive.

Zoe Taylor, who joined the company in 2014 as chief operating officer, has been at the helm since November 2016.

She says she will build on the success of the company's products, as well as building a wider distribution network and additional sharing platforms.

She said: “I’m passionate about helping people quickly and easily bring their storytelling to life on an equal footing, globally, irrespective of size or budget.

"Thanks to our dedicated and knowledgeable team, we are empowering more people than ever to engage their audiences and I’m excited to lead the company into a new era."

Established in 2008, Zoe says Sparkol was founded with "the aim of developing a product that provides an engaging way to present and share ideas quickly and easily".

Sparkol employs over 25 people in its Bristol offices.
