Babcock International hires 30 graduates and apprentices in Bristol

Babcock International, the engineering services company, has hired 30 new apprentices and graduates at its technology hub in Bristol.

The 14 apprentices and 16 graduates secured their places at Babcock after completing several weeks of rigorous applications, testing and interviews.

The graduates joined a rotation of placements, while the apprentices continue their studies and practical assessments as part of their course.

Aroosa Hamshi, project management graduate, said: “Seeing the different opportunities and the range of placements that Babcock has to offer, and how the graduate scheme is structured to drive career progression, is what gave me the boost to apply and sets the programme apart from other graduate schemes.

"I’m excited to continue learning about everything Babcock has to offer.”

Managing director at Babcock Defence Systems Richard Drake added: “The standard of apprentices and graduates in the 2018 intake has again exceeded our expectations.

"We are looking forward to our new recruits settling in and supporting them as they progress within the company.”
