Bristol's Corrigan Accountancy celebrates 10 years in business

Bristol accountancy firm Corrigan is celebrating 10 years in business.

The company, which is based on Lower Park Row, held a dinner at Cooper’s Hall in the city for all its staff.

Founder Ed Corrigan says the firm was an early adopter of cloud technology, which get them a "head start".

He said: "There's still a good future for professional service but firms need to be lean and efficient and geared around the needs of their clients not the other way round."

"Our range of services has grown - we're dealing with start-ups from inception as well as assisting entrepreneurs sell their businesses at the other end of the business life cycle.

Ed says the firm is now advising many of the “fastest-growing” companies in the region, especially in the tech sector.

He added: "Most of the clients have gone from strength to strength since those days and we're now advising many of the fastest growing companies around the region, particularly in the tech sector.

"More than anything we've built a great team of people.

"The last 10 years have flown by but we're well on the road to becoming the leading independent accountancy practice in Bristol which is a tribute to the hard work of the partners and staff."
