Invitation to charity Christmas fair

An evening of festive fun is to be held at Clarke Willmott’s Taunton office where guests can enjoy early Christmas shopping, seasonal food and drinks and a charity raffle.

Taking place on Tuesday, November 14, the charity Christmas fair will raise money for the firm’s nominated charities – Teenage Cancer Trust and Reminiscence Learning.

Local suppliers will be in attendance selling everything from handmade wooden toys and arts and crafts products to Christmas gifts, decorations for the home and more.

Entertainment will come from the Wellsprings Primary School Choir which will sing a selection of festive carols throughout the evening while guests enjoy Mulled Wine and Minced Pies.

Kate Gardner, head of our Taunton office, said: “This is set to be a lovely festive evening of fun to get people in the mood for Christmas while raising vital funds for two charities very close to our hearts.

“Stalls will provide ample opportunity to buy homemade, unique gifts for friends and family from local suppliers. We will also be holding a charity raffle with some fab prizes, tickets are on sale on the night, and the entertainment and refreshments are the icing on the cake.

“We are hoping many of our neighbouring businesses will drop in with friends and colleagues to join us and support these two great causes. All are welcome.

“As an office we have supported Teenage Cancer Trust and Reminiscence Learning for over a year now and we have seen first-hand the incredible work they do.

“Christmas is a hard time for anyone suffering from a life-threatening illness, not to mention their loved ones, and these charities provide a lifeline to those who need it.”

Teenage Cancer Trust is dedicated to creating world-class cancer services for young people in the UK, providing life-changing care and support so they don’t have to face cancer alone.

Reminiscence Learning is a Somerset based charity specialising in dementia and delivering training for health care professionals, carers, volunteers and businesses and offers a range of community projects for the elderly.
